We had SUCH an awesome time at the kingfisher. so relaxing, and such a great time to just reconnect with each other. We had a blast. We had massages, went through the hydropath, went in the pool/hot tub/steam cave many times. While we were there it snowed a bunch which made it even better. The pool is an outdoor pool, going swimming while it was b lizzarding out was just amazing, that is one thing ill always remember.
We also just hung around our room a lot. The room was amazing, the fire place made it. Oh and the jacuzzi in the room, and the heated floor.
But were back to reality now! ive gotta work tomorrow... ugh the weekend is over already! well it was a pretty long weekend haha.
christmas shopping time this weekend! that should be interesting... but were getting our christmas tree so thats exciting! And only 14 more days till my birthay
Me and koda go for walks in the forrest every day. yesterday I brought my camera and took pictures, Ive been meaning to for a while. There are so many pretty colors this time of year, I love it.
I got the day off yesterday cuz my boss was sick, today shes still sick so I'm just going in for two clients.. a perm, yuck and lowlights. but atleesed I'll have the rest of my day to be free!
Ive got such a busy week comming up.. well busy for me haha. sunday, britney is having a "girly" party haha. monday nothing but packing. tuesday is Travis and my 2 year so were going out. wednesday work a full full day. thursday more packing and hopefully getting my halloween costume ready. Friday is my aunts 50th birthday and were having a big party for her at my moms (were doing the true colors assesments, it should be fun) and playing music trivia. Saturday is my best friends 20th birthday and my halloween party combined (which is at my house) I have to work that day and make 50 cupcakes, AND decorate and get ready. And sunday I think we are going to carve pumpkins! then only a few days till we move!
Anyways, heres some more pictures from yesterday.
lunch! It was so good, tofu, mushrooms, spinach, cashews and garlic. I <3 tofu mmm. And i made a lasagne last night all by myself with a recipe! after we ate the first thing i did was call my mom and say "mom guess what i made a lasagne and it was sooo good!" haha she was proud, my mom is the best cook i hope i become as good of a cook as she is. I'm taking her some lasagne right now hah im a loser.
I got off work early today, I feel gross. Stupid winter cold.
i have to pack more, I dont have time to be sick. Its really nice and sunny so Im going for a walk hopefully it makes me feel better not worse.
Its discusting out! Its been raining all day, and the wind is crazy. I cant believe its almost october, what happend to my summer! I do love fall, but I hate the cold. And all I can say is we better not lose the power.
Worked today, 4 whole clients woohoo. Payday today though, now i can pay my cell bill, buy dog food, get advantage for doggy, pay my innsurence and maybe see a movie. If I have anything left over I guess ill get some gas haha my poor car.
Its my weekend though, i plan to stay inside as much as possible. I'll be curled up in my blanket next to the fireplace reading my book if anyone needs me :)
Too much laundry! It feels like Ive been doing laundry all day. I always say im gonna do it once a week, never happens. so i spend a whole day washing almost everything i own.. haha oh well. I still had time to take Travis lunch, clean out the fridge, go grocery shopping and make dinner.
I made such a delecious dinner. I made chicken breaks stuffed with garlic, spinach and basil and sundried tomatoe havarti. It was awesome. Dad and Travis passed out on the couch right after dinner which is sad because i really wanted to go for a walk. I should have just gone, but i waited and waited for Travis to wake up and he still hasnt. Now i have lost my motivation.. oh well.
Back to work tomorrow! and i start my new job on thursday, wish me luck. Im so not looking forward to working full time.
My puppy is getting huge!! Its unbelieveable , it seems like every morning he's totally differnt. I want him to stay little forever haha. He got to play with his brother yesterday he was so happy, so was i because he actually slept all night past 6 am and for the first time in weeks i wasnt super tired all day!
Well my dads house (where im living at the moment) sold! im scared haha, I wasnt prepared for this because it's been for sale for ever i just figured it would take another 6 months or whatever but apparently not... my problem is that im only working two days a week right now and i have a puppy! How are we going to find a place that will take a dog... in like 3 months?! or less yikes. Just a little bit stressfull, Travis's place cant take dogs. well, his roommate has a dog but his girlfriends parents own the place (we got our puppy from them) anyways blah blah.
I just want a nice little house with my own kitchen and near town with a yard. I dont care if it's older or whatever (although our last house was so nice i was spoiled) but with the dog its so hard to find rentals so I'll be happy with anything really. As long as its not more than Travis is paying where he's living right now we will be ok.
Oh! and Travis bought a WII its so cool, i love it. im glad its up at his house cuz id be adicted.. but if we get a place it will be there, haha like i need another distraction! and Travis might be getting a new job either doing outer finishing or elevator construction/mateneince, i want him to get that one, its big money! haha.
well we're off to the pub for some dinner and drinks.
Travis has stayed at my house for the past week. i love when he stays, we had the best weekend, even though he had to work. Im so happy for him, he loves his new job so much and hes making good money. I miss him being around all the time , i love lying in bed next to him in the morning we NEED to get a place.
First i need to get another job, i work tomorrow but thursday im gonna put out a million resumes and get a job. I got offerd a job at a bar in town, my dad goes there every day and the manager told me i had a job if i wanted one. It would be awesome money, but i dont know if i can do it. I mean, id be making awesome money but its all nights, i hate drunk people, ive never even had a waitressing job and its crazy bussy there on the weekend. I dont know, i guess if i cant find anything else ill take it.
We got Daryl and Andrew bunnies for easter! they are sooo cute, the boys have never had a pets of there own before (other than fish) so they are so excited. Daryl named his clover and Andrews is little bunny foo foo, lol hes so cute. they were running around all day in the sun out in the back yard, too cute.
Ive been on the computer too long playing sims, so im gonna go have some soup haha
Another nice day out! work was blah today, slow slow slow. oh well , i really need another job if me and Travis are going to be able to have our own place again ever. I always say im going to go apply for work and then things always come up and i never get around to it. yah i know thats called procrastination , im bad for that. its time to start doing things as soon as i say im going to do them, not two , three , four weeks later.
its Travis's 21st birthday on monday! im taking him out for dinner and then were going to the bar with everyone on friday. i still dont have anything for him! ah i know thats soo bad, i really have no idea what to get him.
I made a to-do list for the next year. this is it.
drink more watereat bettergo on atleesed one walk every weekend- get my own place (with trav)
get a puppy- go on the computer less
re-join the gym- go to the gym atleesed 4 times a week
- go on vacation twice
- go on a road trip
- read a new book every month, atleesed (Have read: Haunted, Running with Scissors, Second Chance, Water for Elephants, Something Blue )
go to a concert(went to zz top, the pretenders and stray cats!)stop biting my nailsbecome a better cookgo to victoria to see erin- save 5,000 dollars
- go for a spa day(will be probably in the new year)

- go camping 8 times (went 5 times, close enough)

My mom moved into her new house on the weekend. i spent the weekend there with her and my step brothers. the cutest boys in the world. It was a great weekend of sitting by the window in the sun reading books with Andrew. He is such a sweetie so is Daryl.
i was so happy to see the sun yesterday. I wish it was summer so i could be at the lake right now. its crazy how long the days are now, it makes me feel less trapped. Before i know it its going to be sunny until 9! i just cant wait for the lake and the beach and swimming and camping and everything else that is great about the summer. Im already in summer mode.
Working tomorrow 9 - 530 yayy hopefully i have another bussy day. come get your hair done people! i just hope all of the herring fishing is done so all the birds and smelly fish are gone haha.
Travis rented some movies i think cosino royal and stranger than fiction. i wanted to get babel but it was all out. sadness. we watched the gardian on the weekend... wow all i can say is longest movie ever, ugh.
anyways im off to make some dinner
